Hess Corporation released its 2015 Corporate Sustainability Report, providing a comprehensive look at the company’s strategy and performance on safety, environmental, social and governance programs and initiatives.

Hess is on the cover of the May 2016 issue of Offshore Magazine. The publication used a photo of the Ocean BlackLion drillship at Stampede in the Gulf of Mexico.

“We remain confident in our ability to manage through the current environment and deliver strong production and cash flow growth as oil prices recover,” Chief Executive Officer John Hess said.

The cover story for the August issue of Oil & Gas Investor takes an in-depth look at the Bakken and how the play remains a stalwart for Hess and other operators, despite predictions by some that the current price environment would spell doom for oil and gas production in North Dakota.

Hess is one of three U.S. oil and gas producers, and the only independent, named among six companies in the Energy industry group.

A Q&A with Gerbert Schoonman, vice president for Hess’ Bakken assets, was featured in the September/October 2016 issue of The Bakken Magazine. He discussed how Lean helps Hess increase efficiency and eliminate waste, noting that Hess has reduced Bakken drilling and completion costs from about $11 million in 2012 to below $5 million today.

Hess Corporation (NYSE:HES) announced that it will hold a conference call on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time to discuss its third quarter 2016 earnings release.

Greg Hill, Hess President and COO., discussed the company's strategy and approach recently at the 2016 Deloitte Oil & Gas Conference in Houston. "The amount of disinvestment in this industry has been incredible — unprecedented. And of course, that’s going to have a lot of implications for the future," he said.

On Sept. 2, Upstream featured a project update on the Stampede Development, reporting that Hess is confident that the project in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico is on target, as the company works towards first oil in 2018.

Hess is among the top 25 percent for total giving among 272 companies that participated in the 2016 Giving in Numbers survey, which is considered the leading benchmark on corporate societal investment and employee engagement.
