The Stampede team commissioned a multipurpose dynamic simulator (MPDS) that was crucial to both successful engineering design and operations training, according to an article in American Oil & Gas Reporter magazine. Located 115 miles south of Port Fourchon, La., in the Gulf of Mexico, Stampede is on track to achieve first oil safely, on schedule and within budget in the first half of 2018.
