Hess has capitalized on its proven track record in the Gulf of Mexico with the successful project execution of the Stampede field — one of the largest undeveloped fields in the Gulf. A special section published recently by Oil & Gas Journal describes how Hess’ leading capabilities in deepwater development and top-quartile performance in offshore drilling and project delivery overcame complex technical challenges to achieve first oil.
