Hess partnered with food rescue non-profit Second Servings of Houston to initially provide 10,000 family meals a week to hospitality workers in need due to the COVID-19 crisis. As part of the “Dinner’s On Us” program, Hess’ Food Services team prepares the take-home meals to be distributed via a contact-free drive-through. With additional funding, “Dinner’s On Us” has expanded to service all Houstonians in need.
Hess and its Stabroek Joint Venture partners ExxonMobil and CNOOC are contributing more than $60 million Guyanese (~$300,000 USD) to COVID-19 relief efforts in Guyana. The funding provides hospitals and clinics with the medical supplies and equipment needed for the fight against COVID-19 and helps the populations most vulnerable to its impact with food and other necessities.
