Transcript

Steve McNally

Inside Hess, that mindset of the independent spirit, it’s a “can do” attitude.  We like to engage the entire organization to bring their ideas forward because people working together create absolute miracles.

Stacey Nachbaur

Upstream Facilities Manager - North Dakota

We’ve had to learn and figure out better ways of executing our business when it’s being done at such a rapid pace.

Eric Corneliusen

Project Manager, Midstream Projects - North Dakota

The way we’ve always done it doesn’t always work. With the Bakken formation, we’re looking at new technologies, more efficient ways of constructing our facilities.

There’s so many pieces to this puzzle. It’s like an intricate machine.

Alf Tischler

We are creating an army of problem solvers, seeing the challenges, doing the work; come up with solutions.

Eric Corneliusen

Stacey Nachbaur

Steve McNally

General Manager - North Dakota

We’ve gone from single well drilling to well pad drilling. It allows us to eliminate waste associated with transporting rigs from one site to the next.

Stacey Nachbaur

The amount of improvement, over the last three or four years, is just amazing.

Steve McNally

From first concept to handing over a well to operations costs us over 14 million dollars. By reducing cycle time, eliminating waste, we have been able to get that cost down, because it’s incredibly efficient.

Alf Tischler

You can see a change in people. You can see the change in the organization. And that drives me to keep continually improving that process.

Stacey Nachbaur

Everything’s possible. We can do it. It just takes courage. And when I think about where we’re going, that’s the cool part. That’s what gets me out of bed every morning.
