Hess Recognized as Leader in CDP’s Global Climate Change Report

Hess has been recognized for climate change stewardship in CDP’s Climate Change Report 2019. This is the 11th consecutive year that the company has earned Leadership status from CDP, an international nonprofit seeking to drive sustainable economies.

“CDP’s rating recognizes our continued leadership in transparency and performance as we address climate-related risks and opportunities,” said Alex Sagebien, Vice President, Environmental, Health and Safety. “Hess is committed to being a trusted energy partner, helping to meet the world’s growing need for energy in a safe, environmentally responsible, socially sensitive and profitable way.”

  • Hess Reports Estimated Results for the First Quarter of 2020

    Hess Corporation (NYSE: HES) today reported a net loss of $2,433 million, or $8.00 per common share, in the first quarter of 2020, including impairment and other after-tax charges of $2,251 million resulting from the low price environment, compared with net income of $32 million, or $0.09 per common share, in the first quarter of 2019. On an adjusted basis, the Corporation reported a net loss of $182 million, or $0.60 per common share, in the first quarter of 2020.
