MINOT, ND—September 4, 2018—Hess Corporation is proud to have been selected as one of the Top 50 Best Places to Work by the Prairie Business magazine. This honor was published in the magazine’s September 2018 edition and comes as Hess continues to expand its operations in North Dakota. “As one of the biggest employers in North Dakota we are pleased to be recognized by Prairie Business magazine,” said Brent Lohnes, Hess general manager in North Dakota. “As a 10+ year member of the Hess workforce, I know personally the commitment our corporation takes to attract, retain, and invest in our employees. The fact that nominations for this award come from anonymous employee surveys makes it even more special to be acknowledged in this way.” “At Hess, six core values guide our actions as individuals at work and as a corporation: Integrity, People, Performance, Value Creation, Social Responsibility and Independent Spirit. They are the basic building blocks of our organization’s culture and represent our company’s collective conscience. It is these values that make Hess a special place to work at, and it is these values that are enduring,” said Mike Turner, Hess senior vice-president for production. According to Prairie Business, more than 1,300 nominations were received for the Top 50 Best Places to Work. Hess’s recognition comes in the large business category for the upper mid-west region, where the company employs ~500 people in North Dakota
