Stampede makes the cover of Offshore

  • The Ocean BlackLion drillship
05.24.2016

Hess is on the cover of the May 2016 issue of Offshore Magazine. The publication used a photo of the Ocean BlackLion drillship at Stampede in the Gulf of Mexico. In its “About the Cover” blurb, the publication wrote, “Sanctioned prior to the downturn, the deepwater Stampede oil and gas development, operated by Hess Corp., is one of several projects in the Gulf of Mexico still ongoing despite the low oil price environment.”

Stampede leverages Hess’ proven capability to safely execute deepwater development projects. When onstream, anticipated in 2018, it is expected to provide a significant contribution to Hess’ future growth.

In addition to making the magazine’s cover, Hess was also featured in an article about its successes with subsea CT scanning.
