Hess Corporation’s Stampede tension leg platform (TLP) was safely and successfully installed in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico May 25, 2017. Twelve 3,400 ft. tendons secure the TLP to the sea floor. Hookup and commissioning are currently progressing on schedule. First oil is planned for first half of 2018.
