Our 2022 Sustainability Report was prepared in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, including the Oil and Gas Sector Standard. Our declaration of conformance with the GRI Standards has been reviewed and confirmed by our external verifier, ERM Certification and Verification Services. See the Independent Assurance Statement.
Our 2022 Sustainability Report was also informed by the Sustainability Reporting Guidance for the Oil and Gas Industry developed by Ipieca, the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers; the United Nations Global Compact’s (UNGC) Ten Principles; oil and gas industry metrics from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB); the World Economic Forum (WEF) Stakeholder Capitalism Core Metrics; recommendations from the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures; and key environmental, social and governance ratings.
2022 Global Reporting Initiative Content Index
The GRI Content Index refers to the GRI Standards (2021) and GRI 11: Oil and Gas Sector Standard (2021), with cross reference to the UNGC’s Ten Principles, Ipieca sector-specific guidelines, SASB oil and gas industry metrics and WEF Stakeholder Capitalism Core Metrics. The index includes all indicators required to report in accordance with GRI Standards, as well as a number of additional indicators for which we are able to provide supporting information.
