On a daily basis, Hess Corporation moves over 700,000 barrels of crude oil, refinery feedstocks and finished products via tankers, barges, pipelines and production platform sales. Crude oil is marketed through offices in London, New York and Houston to refineries throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Refinery feedstocks and blend stocks are supplied via a combination of term and spot contracts in order to optimize refining economics. Finished products are supplied for sale through marketing channels, optimizing freight and location options, in order to best meet the demands of our customers at competitive prices.

Hess Corporation, a leading terminal operator for more than 50 years, operates one of the largest petroleum terminal networks on the East Coast. The 22 terminals are strategically located to support our Hess retail chain, as well as our heating oil and fuel oil customer base. Many of the terminals throughput product for third party customers, such as other oil companies. The operational capabilities and locations of these terminals allow Hess Corporation to enjoy an outstanding reputation as a reliable supplier.

Waterborne access is available at 19 terminals, 11 of which can be supplied by ocean tanker. Several terminals can receive products from the Colonial or Buckeye pipelines. The terminals provide for the storage of gasoline and distillate products, as well as fuel oil storage and blending capabilities. To further support our marketing customers, many terminals have a dedicated fleet of Hess product delivery trucks.
