Hess and Hess Express Retail Stores

Hess is the leading independent gasoline-convenience store retailer on the U.S. East Coast, with over 1,360 stores serving customers in 16 states from Massachusetts to Florida.  Our Hess Express stores are designed to offer customers an answer to today's fast-paced lifestyle by providing the convenience of 'one-stop shopping.'  Every day, more than 1.3 million customers are served at a Hess branded location.  In addition to petroleum products and convenience store items, Dunkin Donuts®, Blimpie™ sandwiches, Godfather's™ Pizzas and other quality brands are sold at Hess stores.

Terminals and Supply

Hess Corporation, a leading terminal operator for more than 60 years, operates an extensive petroleum terminal network on the East Coast. About a third of Hess’ 25 million barrels of storage capacity is leased to third parties – other energy companies, traders, and the U.S. Department of Energy. Hess secures refinery feedstocks, blendstocks and finished product to support our Hess retail chain, as well as our heating oil and fuel oil customer base. Hess also markets marine or "bunker" fuels to customers in the New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Norfolk and Charleston markets.

Hess Toy Truck

In the early 1960's Leon Hess, the company's founder, wanted to provide a fun, high quality and affordable toy for families during the holiday season.  The first Hess Toy Truck, introduced in 1964, was a tanker that could be filled with water and emptied through its delivery hose.  Forty-five years later, the Hess Toy Truck still maintains the original commitment to quality, detail and value. It has become an enduring family tradition that extends across generations.
