Just a few examples of how this plays out for individual employees include:

"Making a Difference… Everyday" Employee Recognition Program: Hess makes a point to celebrate employees’ accomplishments. This program encourages people to recognize accomplishments that are ‘beyond the normal duties of the job.’ Individuals, teams or an entire department can be recognized for noteworthy leadership and superb performance. Recognition can come in several forms: financial, something tangible like a special evening out, or less tangible, like formal recognition at an employee meeting.

Employee Activities Committee: Many of our work locations have an Employee Activities Committee that plans events for Hess employees. These include family events, sports teams, discounted tickets to shows and events.

Employee Social Responsibility Teams: Again, a range of our locations have teams that encourage and coordinate community improvement activities, many of which are focused on health and education. These are major themes for the corporation’s own social responsibility programs. The company also encourages and supports employees’ own charitable activities.
